Sate Ge'ite
Hee?, Sate?, What is sate?. Well, sate or in
english that’s mean satay it’s traditional food from Indonesia. Its yummy food
with the good taste. Have many kinds of sate in Indonesia. There are sate kodok
(frog satay), sate ular (snake satay), sate belalang (bugs satay), sate ayam
(Chicken satay), sate kambing (Goat satay), and the special one is sate ge’ite
(octopus satay).
Sate
ge’ite, Everyone people on Bengkulu must be familiar with sate ge’ite. Sate ge’ite
is traditional food from bintuhan city. When you taste and eat sate ge’ite,
your tongue can’t stop to shake cause really delicious. There are many steps
how to make sate ge’ite. Firstly,cut the octopus breast fillet into 1 cm dice
(cube cut or macedoine cut). Secondly,put it into the skewer (3-4 pieces in one
skewer). Third,
add 3 tbs of the sauce and lots of sweet
soya sauce on top of it. Mix well.fourth,marinate the octopus in 5 minutes and
start to grill it.fifth,occasionally turn the octopus until its cooked.sixth,after
all the sate cooked, put the rest of the soya sauce. And the last,put the fried
shallots on top of it. Serve with nice warm rice. Hhmmm.. you can enjoy the sate
ge’ite.
